Jon Ablewhite
Qualified as a Member of the RICS in March 1990 (MRICS), whilst working for Hepper Robinson Whybrow in Colchester, as Manager of the Commercial Agency Department.
One of the founding directors of Whybrow Riches & Dodds which, in July 1992, agreed a management buyout from Halifax Estate Agencies of the Colchester office, following which he continued to run the Commercial Agency department, dealing with all aspects of the business in all main sectors, retail offices, industrial and investment/development work.
In 1999, joined the Professional and Management department of the firm, dealing with asset management and all associated professional work for a wide variety of private and corporate clients. From that time, also worked with Peter Riches on the management of the tidal interests of The Crown Estate from The Wash to the Thames.
In 2001, joined with Peter Riches in establishing Morley Riches & Ablewhite LLP, providing a broad range of general professional services including commercial property agency services.
Current work
Deals with the sales, lettings and acquisition of commercial properties including investment/development situations, valuations for secured lending and other purposes, and providing general professional services including rent reviews and lease renewals for a wide range of corporate and private clients, and general professional work such as rent reviews and lease renewals.
